Job summary
Novo Nordisk is seeking a Process Control Engineer to drive design compliance and ramp-up of new equipment and processes across multiple sites. You will collaborate with local and global teams to ensure URS and IFA are met, and act as gatekeeper for standards while focusing on reliability and continuous improvement.
The role emphasizes hands-on development of automation standards, system documentation, and support for audits with a strong cLEAN® mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of five years engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, or packaging systems.
- May consider seven years of engineering experience in process-based manufacturing.
- For Logistics roles: warehouse automation equipment preferred.
- Knowledgeable in SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL, Historian; SAP EWM a plus.
- Able to translate high-level direction into actionable tasks using cLEAN®/Six Sigma methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Work with local and global project teams to ensure process design complies with standards.
- Develop interface agreements and align requirements with equipment vendors.
- Develop and implement plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
- Schedule and execute plans in coordination with manufacturing schedules.
- Assist with budgeting for maintaining and improving process control systems.
- Develop and maintain automation standards, specifications, and maintenance plans.
- Support audits and inspections as SME for process control systems.
- Coach and train colleagues and stakeholders in relevant areas.
