Jobot is seeking a Permanent Application Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will design and implement hydraulic systems for heavy machinery, supporting both new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in hydraulic design, and SolidWorks proficiency, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. Hybrid work is available.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative hydraulic systems for heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

• Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed designs and structural analyses of systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hydraulic systems and heavy machinery.
• Conduct in-depth analyses to identify potential areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the manufacturing team, including training on new systems and processes.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in hydraulic systems and heavy machinery.
• Ensure all designs and processes comply with safety regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Application Engineer position will have:

1. A Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in hydraulic systems design and implementation, preferably in the manufacturing industry. At least 1 year of experience with Railcar
3. Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD (3D 2005 and higher) software.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and heavy machinery.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
6. A strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
