Verto People Ltd is recruiting an Applications Engineer / Product Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer to join our client, a global manufacturer of mechanical seals, in Texas. You'll provide technical support, troubleshoot seal failures, and develop sealing solutions for diverse industrial applications.

You will collaborate with customers, sales teams and internal engineering to diagnose issues, recommend products, and help improve reliability.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience with mechanical seals or sealing systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of seal applications, troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Experience with pumps or rotating equipment in industrial settings.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing confidence.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of centrifugal pumps and cartridge seals.

About the Role of Application Engineer / Product Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer

We're working with an established global manufacturer of mechanical seals and engineered sealing systems looking to recruit an Applications Engineer to join their growing team in Texas.

This position will focus on providing technical support, troubleshooting mechanical seal failures, and developing effective sealing solutions for customers across a range of industrial applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, sales representatives, and internal engineering teams to diagnose equipment issues, recommend suitable sealing products, and improve equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities of Application Engineer / Product Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer

• Provide technical support and application engineering expertise for mechanical seals and sealing systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical seal failures and identify root causes of equipment problems.
• Conduct seal failure analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve performance and reliability.
• Work directly with customers to understand operating conditions, technical requirements, and sealing challenges.
• Recommend appropriate mechanical seals and engineered sealing solutions for industrial applications.
• Support mechanical seal installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical guidance and product recommendations.
• Review failed components and prepare technical findings and reports.
• Support product improvements and application-specific engineering solutions.

Requirements of Application Engineer / Product Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer

• 3+ years of experience working with mechanical seals, sealing systems, or closely related equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of mechanical seal applications, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
• Experience working with pumps, rotating equipment, or industrial mechanical systems.
• Ability to identify technical problems and recommend practical engineering solutions.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
• Self-motivated, technically minded, and capable of working independently.
• Knowledge of centrifugal pumps and rotating equipment.
• Experience with cartridge seals, component seals, and seal support systems.
• Exposure to industrial manufacturing, chemical processing, oil and gas, or other process industries.
• Previous experience in applications engineering, field service engineering, or technical support.
