Job summary

RSM is seeking an Application Development Intern to join its Data & Digital Solutions team. You will work on multiple client engagements, design and document data integrations, and contribute to ERP/CRM development initiatives while learning our systems and standards.

As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience with data workflows, troubleshooting, and coding practices in VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET and JavaScript, collaborating with client teams. Travel to assigned client locations is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related IT field required
• Strong conceptual, analytic and problem-solving skills
• Database Design experience
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the firm
• Travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and document specifications for data integrations
• Coordinate with client lead users and client engineering teams to test and implement new or modified programs as needed
• Document requirements and assist in ERP/CRM development in creating ERP/CRM customizations
• Develop a deeper knowledge on proper coding technique
