Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking a motivated student to join as an Application Developer Co-op from January–August 2027. The position supports development, testing, and enhancement of business applications and software solutions in a dynamic HVAC manufacturing company.

You will work with C#, XML, SQL and related technologies, contribute to QA, and help develop reports and dashboards to support business decisions. Collaboration with developers and business partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a related bachelor’s degree program (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, or similar degree with technical aptitude)
• On track to graduate in the next 3 semesters
• Experience with object-oriented programming through coursework, projects, or previous work.
• Familiarity with C#, SQL, XML, or similar programming languages and technologies.
• Exposure to software development tools and practices such as Git, Jira, testing, debugging, and version control.
• Familiarity with databases, structured data, and querying data using SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an interest in developing technical solutions.
• Ability to collaborate on projects and communicate effectively with both technical and business partners.
• Exposure to Power BI, Python, data visualization, or AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay. The starting base pay range for this position is $20.00/hour - $28.00/hour and is based on position and academic year. In addition to competitive pay, co-ops receive paid time off for company-observed holidays and are eligible for additional financial support through a housing allowance or sign-on bonus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Occasional mobility required to attend in‑person meetings and complete various office tasks.
