Job Description

As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, you will work with a team of software engineers, testers, designers, and product managers to develop enterprise-wide systems and applications in a mature Agile/DevSecOps environment.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 2-5 years’ experience with Ruby on Rails
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Mission-focused, self-starter, independent, and resourceful
• Enjoys a less formal, more flexible work environment
• 2+ years of experience with software development, architecture, APIs, and microservices
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and associated frameworks
• Experience with multiple backend languages and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience automating tests for quality, security, performance, and usability
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, OpenShift, EKS
• Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, and pull requests
• Experience working in HCD, Agile, and DevSecOps environments

Preferred Skills / Attributes

• Experience with paired programming, XP, TDD, BDD, and lean design
• Passion for full-stack development

Additional Information
