Job description

Application Developer
Hybrid (Onsite first two weeks on-site, then Onsite 1 day/wk)
Candidates must live in Pennsylvania to be eligible. All telework must be performed in PA.

Description: DSI is searching for an Application Developer to assist other developers with upgrading the Resource First Portal (RFP) system code to meet WCAG Accessibility requirements. The RFP application was built with ASP.Net, C#.Net, .NET MVC, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to function both as an individual and as part of a team. The successful applicant must be capable of meeting or exceeding challenging deadlines while performing daily duties.

Responsibilities:

1. Analysis, design, coding, and testing of application code.
2. Application troubleshooting and bug fixes.
3. Upgrade existing applications to WCAG accessible applications.
4. Convert Monolithic applications to Microservices applications.
5. Record, verify, log, and document testing results.
6. Maintain versioning and source control with TFS.
7. Develop applications in Angular Framework.
8. Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years experience with Microsoft .Net Framework.
2. 3+ years experience with SQL Server 2016 or higher.
3. 1+ year experience with SSRS.
4. 1+ year experience with Microsoft TFS or similar tool.
5. 1+ year experience with Angular Framework.
6. 1+ year experience with Microservices.
7. 1+ year experience with ASP.NET.
8. 1+ year experience with XML.

Desired skills:

1. 1+ year experience with GIS Mapping.
2. 1+ year experience with Entity Framework.
3. 1+ year experience with Telerik GUI Controls.
