Job summary

SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY seeks a Project Manager/Coordinator to collaborate with the Project Director, Project Managers, and source owners to develop a detailed project plan, defining timelines, tasks, and milestones in coordination with the vendor.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent, plus strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and computer skills, and a willingness to work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with on-call

Job Summary:

Works collaboratively with the Project Director and Project Managers, as well as other source owners to develop a project plan for each project that will establish project timelines, tasks, and milestones in collaboration with the vendor. Responsible for in-depth knowledge of system software as well as operational workflows. This includes achieving and maintenance application certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant professional work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be self-directed with strong interpersonal, communication, analytic and computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge and/or use of Health Information Systems in a hospital setting, especially the Epic suite of products is preferred. Experience working in a health care setting.

Work Days:

M-F 8am-5pm other On Call After Hours and Weekends
