SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY seeks a collaborative Project Coordinator/Manager to develop detailed project plans for IT initiatives. You will work with the Project Director, Project Managers, and vendors to define timelines, tasks, and milestones, while ensuring alignment with clinical workflows.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant experience, with strong interpersonal, analytic, and communication skills.
Works collaboratively with the Project Director and Project Managers, as well as other source owners to develop a project plan for each project that will establish project timelines, tasks, and milestones in collaboration with the vendor. Responsible for in-depth knowledge of system software as well as operational workflows. This includes achieving and maintaining application certification.
Bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant professional work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be self-directed with strong interpersonal, communication, analytic and computer skills.
Knowledge and experience with Health Information Systems in a healthcare environment, particularly the Epic suite of applications, is preferred. Epic certification(s) or demonstrated experience supporting Epic applications is highly desirable. Experience supporting or utilizing emerging healthcare technologies, including artificial intelligence, ambient clinical documentation, predictive analytics, and workflow automation solutions, is highly desirable. Experience working in a hospital is preferred.
