About the role

Bering McKinley (BMK) is seeking an Application Consultant to join our remote-first consulting team. In this role, you’ll work directly with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to configure and optimize their operational systems—primarily ConnectWise Manage, QuickBooks Online, Moovila, and other industry-standard platforms.

This is a client-facing, entry-to-mid level role with real career growth potential. You’ll be trained in how MSPs operate, mentored by experienced consultants, and empowered to own your work. If you’re tech-savvy, curious, and excited to build a career in business consulting, this is the role for you.

What you'll do

• Leading or supporting implementation projects for PSA, accounting, and documentation platforms
• Hosting remote sessions with clients to configure systems and educate users
• Documenting configuration decisions, workflows, and system usage standards
• Translating complex client needs into actionable, scalable solutions
• Collaborating closely with Project Coordinators and Account Managers
• Becoming fluent in the tools and metrics that drive MSP performance
• Participating in internal training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Comfort with technology platforms, cloud software, and process documentation
• Enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement
• Positive attitude with a sense of humor and team spirit

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ConnectWise Manage, QuickBooks Online, or Moovila
• Previous experience in a client-facing or consulting role
• Familiarity with the MSP industry or small business operations
