Job summary

CTG seeks an Application Consolidation Technical Project Manager to lead 3rd-party application projects, managing end-to-end activities from intake to execution within the IT application portfolio.

The role partners with clinical and business stakeholders to align workflow changes, coordinate data migration and testing, manage risks including HIPAA and cybersecurity, and provide clear status reporting and governance across sites.

Qualifications

• PM experience in healthcare IT (EHR, ancillary systems, revenue cycle, enterprise apps).
• Strong understanding of system integration, data migration, and change management in regulated environments.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs with clinical and technical teams.

• Lead end-to-end consolidation projects: discovery, planning, sequencing, migration, and decommissioning.
• Partner with clinical and business stakeholders to align workflow changes, minimize disruption, and ensure adoption.
• Coordinate data migration, interface integration (HL7/FHIR), testing, training, and go-live readiness.
• Manage risks related to patient safety, downtime, cybersecurity, privacy (HIPAA), and regulatory requirements.
• Track timelines, dependencies, budgets, and vendor deliverables; provide clear status reporting and escalation.
• Drive change management and stakeholder alignment across multiple departments and sites.
• Establish governance and metrics (application count reduction, cost savings, performance, support burden, and user satisfaction).

Projects will be outputs from theapplicationrationalization effort focusing on consolidating, retiring, and extendingapplications from the organized ITapplication portfolio.

TheApplication Consolidation Technical Project Manger will report to theApplicationRationalization Projects Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end consolidation projects: discovery/inventory, target-state planning, sequencing, migration/cutover, and decommissioning.
• Partner with clinical and business stakeholders to align workflow changes, minimize disruption, and ensure adoption.
• Coordinate data migration, interface integration (e.g., HL7/FHIR), testing, training, and go-live readiness.
• Manage risks related to patient safety, downtime, cybersecurity, privacy (HIPAA), and regulatory requirements.
• Track timelines, dependencies, budgets, and vendor deliverables; provide clear status reporting and escalation.
• Drive change management, communications, and stakeholder alignment across multiple departments and sites.
• Establish governance and metrics (application count reduction, cost savings, performance, support burden, and user satisfaction).

Preferred qualifications

• Project management experience in healthcare IT (EHR, ancillary systems, revenue cycle, enterpriseapps).
• Strong understanding of system integration, data migration, and change management in regulated environments.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs with clinical and technical teams.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $135,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
