Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of system integration, data migration, and change management in regulated environments.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs with clinical and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end consolidation projects: discovery, planning, sequencing, migration, and decommissioning.
  • Partner with clinical and business stakeholders to align workflow changes, minimize disruption, and ensure adoption.
  • Coordinate data migration, interface integration (HL7/FHIR), testing, training, and go-live readiness.
  • Manage risks related to patient safety, downtime, cybersecurity, privacy (HIPAA), and regulatory requirements.
  • Track timelines, dependencies, budgets, and vendor deliverables; provide clear status reporting and escalation.
  • Drive change management and stakeholder alignment across multiple departments and sites.
  • Establish governance and metrics (application count reduction, cost savings, performance, support burden, and user satisfaction).

Job description

CTG is seeking an Application Consolidation Technical Project Manager. This position will lead 3rdpartyapplication projects, managing end-to-end project activities lifecycle from intake to execution. Projects will be outputs from theapplicationrationalization effort focusing on consolidating, retiring, and extendingapplications from the organized ITapplication portfolio.

TheApplication Consolidation Technical Project Manger will report to theApplicationRationalization Projects Lead.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end consolidation projects: discovery/inventory, target-state planning, sequencing, migration/cutover, and decommissioning.
  • Partner with clinical and business stakeholders to align workflow changes, minimize disruption, and ensure adoption.
  • Coordinate data migration, interface integration (e.g., HL7/FHIR), testing, training, and go-live readiness.
  • Manage risks related to patient safety, downtime, cybersecurity, privacy (HIPAA), and regulatory requirements.
  • Track timelines, dependencies, budgets, and vendor deliverables; provide clear status reporting and escalation.
  • Drive change management, communications, and stakeholder alignment across multiple departments and sites.
  • Establish governance and metrics (application count reduction, cost savings, performance, support burden, and user satisfaction).
Preferred qualifications
  • Project management experience in healthcare IT (EHR, ancillary systems, revenue cycle, enterpriseapps).
  • Strong understanding of system integration, data migration, and change management in regulated environments.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs with clinical and technical teams.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $135,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
