Job description

This is a 6+ month contract position for an Application Architect III - ServiceNow Developer, based remotely in the US. You will participate in the full ServiceNow implementation lifecycle and work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to design and deploy enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full ServiceNow implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Design and configure ServiceNow modules such as ITSM (IT Service Management), ITAM (IT Asset Management), and others based on business needs.
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other relevant technologies.
• Implement workflows, business rules, and automation to streamline processes and improve user experience.
• Work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and other ServiceNow professionals to align solutions with organizational goals.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and solutions.
• Ensure that best practices and ITIL frameworks are followed.
• Assist with upgrades, patches, and new releases to ensure platform stability and enhancement of functionality.
• Provide training and support to end users.

Qualifications

• Required
  • 6-9 years of professional experience with ServiceNow development, scripting, workflows, and integrations.
  • Fluency in programming languages including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Glide scripting, and SQL.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating ServiceNow Business Rules and UI Policies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least two ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITAM, CSM).
  • Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with Flow Designer and Service Portal.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) implementation.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of development operations (DevOps).
  • Understanding of software security.
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Training in software engineering.
  • Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work products.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
