Job summary

Harbor Care in Nashua, NH is seeking an Application Analyst III to train, configure, optimize, and support enterprise applications while leading projects. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that improve operations and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in clinical informatics, healthcare IT or similar related work.
  • Working knowledge of an Electronic Health Record (EHR), EMR or Practice Management Systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience collaborating with people from diverse populations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and internal teams.
  • Configure and maintain application settings, workflows, and integrations to meet evolving business needs.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures.
  • Develop, analyze, and deliver reporting and data analytics to support strategic decision making and optimize performance.
  • Provide higher level support for enterprise applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests.
  • Lead or participate in application-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, staff, and community partners; maintain documentation and reporting.
  • Support Harbor Care’s philosophy of care, mission, and organizational values daily.

The Application Analyst III plays a vital role in advancing Harbor Care’s mission and vision by training, supporting, configuring, optimizing, and enhancing enterprise applications while leading projects, providing reporting and analytics, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions that improve business operations. This position is responsible for training and optimization, while ensuring that our services align with our philosophy of care and values of compassion, respect, collaboration, and transparency to create a positive impact on those we serve and the broader community. Additionally, this role contributes to organizational goals while supporting a culture aligned with our Employee Engagement Principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end‑users and internal teams.
  • Configure and maintain application settings, workflows, and integrations to meet evolving business needs.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures.
  • Develop, analyze, and deliver reporting and data analytics to support strategic decision making, organizational initiatives, optimize application performance, and ensure data accuracy across systems.
  • Provide a higher level of support for enterprise applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Lead or participate in application‑related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with clients, staff, and community partners; maintain accurate and timely documentation, records, or reporting requirements.
  • Support Harbor Care’s philosophy of care, mission, and organizational values in day‑to‑day work.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years in clinical informatics, healthcare IT or similar related work.
  • Working knowledge of an Electronic Health Record (EHR), Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Practice Management Systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience collaborating with people from diverse populations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years in clinical informatics or healthcare IT.
  • In‑depth working knowledge of the use, configuration and maintenance of the Athena Practice EMR/EHS application.
  • Knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) rules, regulations and operations.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and other reporting tools.
  • Experience working within nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, housing, human services, or community‑based settings.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience, including military service, internships, volunteer work, and non‑traditional career paths, may be considered.
