Position Title: Application Analyst II Department: Enterprise Business Solutions Job Description: The Application Analyst II position is responsible for working with Operations and ETS to determine workflows and systems capabilities to ensure effective outcomes. Utilizes past experience to support the host of ETS systems and operations ranging from ancillary applications to supporting business, clinical and revenue cycle operations in conjunction with Epic and the Enterprise Resource Planning System for various functional areas.

• Developing technical solutions to complex business problems
• Defining, analyzing, and implementing solutions based on operation workflow needs
• Assisting with the selection, installation, maintenance, and education of system applications
• Documenting workflow reflecting current and future state
• Recognizing system improvements that may boost operational efficiency
• Monitoring, tracking, and documenting system utilization and effectiveness
• Taking part in pre- and post-implementation metrics gathering to assure the system is delivering expected outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

• Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in IT application support required. Previous IT healthcare experience preferred.
• License/Certification/Registration Requirements: No certification required.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Strong knowledge of computers, patient care information systems and business systems Strong ability to extract and analyze data Strong knowledge of processional theory, practices, techniques and procedures Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and ensure quality patient care Strong listening skills Strong knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software Strong comprehension of the integration of ancillary applications and their associated functionality.
