Insight Global is seeking a Technical Application Analyst for a top enterprise energy client. This consultant will provide hands-on production support, technical analysis, automation, and project-delivery assistance across a diverse portfolio of business applications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in application support or related fields.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS, ERP, HR, or legal applications.
• Experience with production support, requirements analysis, testing, releases and vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of integrations, APIs, scheduled jobs, logs, data mapping and cross-system troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with SQL, scripting, automation or similar tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot application behavior, integration failures and data discrepancies.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create clear technical and business documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across support and projects.
• Experience using Cursor, ChatGPT or similar AI tools productively and securely.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 functional and technical support for assigned enterprise applications and integrations.
• Triage incidents and requests, identifying root causes and coordinating resolutions.
• Troubleshoot integrations, data exchanges, error queues, and cross-system issues.
• Use SQL, scripting, APIs and data inspection to investigate problems and validate data.
• Develop lightweight automation for monitoring, reconciliation, and documentation.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate research, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into specifications.
• Support implementations, releases and post-go-live hypercare.
• Create test strategies, data, logs and acceptance materials.
• Coordinate vendor cases and verify fixes in test and production.
• Develop SOPs, runbooks and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Lead cross-training sessions for internal teams.
• Communicate status, risks and recommendations to partners and vendors.

Must-Haves:

Day-to-Day:

• Create test strategies, test cases, test data, defect logs, and user acceptance materials
• Coordinate vendor cases and validate fixes in test and production environments
• Develop SOPs, support runbooks, troubleshooting guides, process maps, integration records, and knowledge-transfer materials
• Lead cross-training and knowledge-transfer sessions for internal teams
• Communicate status, risks, technical findings, and recommendations to business partners, technical teams, and vendors

This role offers the opportunity to work with enterprise platforms such as Workday, Execute AFE, Harvey AI, Legal Tracker, and Concur while using modern AI-assisted tools to improve analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and knowledge transfer

Compensation:

$45/hr to $60/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
