Job summary

Lee County Clerk of Court and Comptroller is seeking an Application Administrator to keep critical applications running smoothly and securely within the Innovation and Technology Department.

You will troubleshoot issues, manage configurations, and oversee upgrades while ensuring data quality across environments. Strong SQL basics, ITIL familiarity, and MS Office proficiency are required, with occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years IT experience required.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on application administration experience.
• ITIL v4 preferred.
• Ability to write basic MS SQL queries.
• Equivalent combinations of experience, training and education considered.
• Two-year minimum term with a structured training plan.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues involving data, configuration, and software defects.
• Manage configuration, installation, and maintenance for assigned systems and components.
• Provide SQL administrative support and create secure user access across applications.
• Maintain detailed documentation on configurations, mappings, processes, and service records.
• Plan and execute major application upgrades, releases, and patch installations.
• Coordinate data migrations between development, testing, and production environments.
• Validate daily disaster recovery processes, including log shipping.
• Conduct quality assurance testing on purchased or in-house solutions.
• Track incidents, changes, and problems using call logging software.
• Collaborate on project teams and be available for occasional off-hours work.
