Job summary

Keith's Appliances is seeking a motivated Appliance Service Technician to join our team in Southeast Connecticut. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of home appliances, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring timely, quality work in customers' homes.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, and comfort with tablet-based work orders and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology.
• Physical ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances on-site per schedule.
• Troubleshoot problems with appropriate equipment to determine action.
• Estimate repair costs and obtain authorization before starting work.
• Communicate with office and customers throughout repairs.
• Complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Travel to customer locations to perform repairs as directed.
• Recommend and explain additional repairs as appropriate.
• Finalize repair order information including pricing.
• Coordinate with techline to locate parts and information.
