As an Appliance Repair Technician with Mr. Appliance, you are a core member of our team, providing excellent customer service and appliance repair expertise. A broken appliance can disrupt a family’s life – you can be a superhero by restoring their appliance.

Wage structure (salary + bonus): The technician will be paid a weekly salary, with a monthly bonus based on sales performance.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and repair residential or commercial appliances
2. Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payments using our state-of-the-art mobile app
3. Ensure safe, efficient, and clean use of company vehicle and equipment
4. Communicate required customer information back to the home office

Job Requirements

1. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
2. Customer-facing skills (ability to talk, sell, and answer questions)
3. Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude (preferred)
4. Problem-solving capabilities with the above aptitudes
5. Detail-oriented when documenting findings
6. Ability to use a volt meter (multimeter) and read volts, amps, resistance, temperature
7. Knowledge of basic tools within a toolbox
8. Ability to adapt and use iPad work order software
9. Effective communication with customers and team members
10. Physical ability to perform job tasks, including lifting, maneuvering in tight spaces, reaching, and climbing
