As an Appliance Repair Technician at City Appliance, you’ll be a vital part of our service team—responsible for delivering top-quality diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of all major household appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and more). You’ll work directly in customers’ homes, representing our reputation for excellence while identifying opportunities to recommend additional services or upgrades when appropriate.

What you’ll do every day

• Accurately diagnose and repair major household appliances in customers’ homes
• Perform preventative maintenance and install new appliances when needed
• Provide exceptional customer service and clearly explain repairs and pricing
• Upsell additional services, parts, or protection plans when it genuinely benefits the customer
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company van
• Complete paperwork and documentation efficiently using our mobile service software

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Driver's License with a clean record
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
• Flexible and variable hours (no weekends)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Your own basic hand tools (specialty tools and stock provided)
