MAJOR APPLIANCE SERVICE CO LLC is seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in Connecticut. In this role, you will travel to customers’ locations to install new appliances and diagnose and repair existing ones.

The ideal candidate is friendly and reliable, with strong technical skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification preferred.

Job Summary

In this role, you will travel to customers’ homes and businesses, install new appliances, and diagnose and repair their existing appliances. Responsibilities

• Respond to client requests for appliance service
• Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems
• Estimate the costs of appliance repair, service, and installation
• Repair appliances
• Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
• Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
• Teach homeowners how to operate their appliances
• Maintain accurate and detailed records

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Associate degree or appliance repair certification preferred
• Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician is preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification to work on air conditioners and refrigerators is preferred
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
• Excellent customer service skills
