About the Role

Our client, a well-established retailer and installer of domestic appliances, is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Appliance Installation & Repair Specialist to serve the Welkom, Free State area. This role involves the professional installation, servicing, and repair of a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, and dishwashers. Key Responsibilities

• Install new domestic appliances according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues with malfunctioning appliances.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with domestic appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, ovens, microwaves).


• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems relevant to appliances.


• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and hand tools for repairs.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.


• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation to customer sites.


• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
