Job summary

Island Palm Communities is seeking a General Maintenance Technician – Appliance at Schofield Barracks, HI. You will perform maintenance and repair of appliances across rental units and common areas, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years' experience in appliance or general maintenance. You will need carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience as General Maintenance Technician or Appliance Technician.
• Basic competency in carpentry, plumbing and electrical trades.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work to deadlines.
• Ability to use a mobile device and apps for work orders.

Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshooting and replacement of Appliances and components.
• Respond to service calls and complete COM work and other Property maintenance requirements.
• Load and unload supplies and move materials to job sites.
• Transport equipment and appliances to job sites.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite; ensure safe operations.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
