Job summary

National Appliance Warehouse in Delaware is seeking motivated individuals to join our delivery and installation team. This role focuses on customer service, safe handling of appliances, and accurate installation support.

You will work with a lead technician to load, transport, install, haul away old units, prep work areas, and keep sites clean. We value teamwork, reliability, safety, and a proactive approach to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist the Lead Technician in addressing basic customer questions and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Assist with the safe loading, securing, transportation, and unloading of appliances.
• Utilize dollies, straps, lifting equipment, and other tools to ensure safe handling and delivery.
• Measure doorways, hallways, and installation areas to ensure proper appliance placement.
• Protect customer property by covering floors and preparing a clear, safe path for delivery and installation.
• Assist the Lead Technician with appliance installations, connections, and setup as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently while following company procedures.
• Remove and transport old, damaged, or unwanted appliances from customer locations.
• Load haul‑away items onto the delivery vehicle for proper disposal or recycling.
• Clean and organize the work area upon completion of each job.
• Remove and properly dispose of packaging materials and debris, leaving the customer’s home clean and presentable.
