Job summary

Grand Appliance and TV is seeking a full-time Appliance Delivery and Install Associate in Wrightstown, WI. You will safely load, deliver, and install high-end appliances in customers' homes, following manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures.

Candidates with appliance delivery experience are preferred, but eager learners with a strong mechanical aptitude are welcome. You will troubleshoot installation issues, keep the vehicle organized, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or mechanical education or certifications preferred.
• Previous appliance delivery/installation experience preferred, but learning potential is welcomed.
• Strong mechanical background and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to different situations and customer needs.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy appliances and performing installation tasks.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an associate to load, transport, and unload appliances to customers' homes, ensuring perfect condition.
• Drive a 26-foot box truck to deliver appliances to customer locations.
• Install and set up appliances following manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures.
• Conduct inspections to ensure appliances work properly before leaving.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues with mechanical aptitude.
• Maintain records of deliveries, installations, and service performed.
• Coordinate with customer service to schedule appointments and ensure timely deliveries.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
