Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking an Appliance Service Technician (Albany, NY) to diagnose and repair major home appliances at customer locations. You will promote service contracts and parts, operate a company van, and document all work.

We value safety, reliability, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Eligible candidates bring 1+ year of appliance repair experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to obtain CFC within 6 months.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances.
• Recommend repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote and sell service contracts and related products/appliances.
• Operate assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes, and work activities accurately.
• Participate in training sessions, meetings, and events to maintain industry expertise.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of service vehicle.
• Deliver high-quality service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Follow all safety protocols.
