Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Architect to provide integrated architecture support for delivery teams and guide client projects. You will design and integrate Appian solutions across client architectures, mentor teams, and drive scalable, secure deployments.

The role requires 6+ years in Appian and IT, plus certification and strong Agile and database skills. Preference for candidates in the DC metro area with ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions
• 6+ years of related IT experience
• Active Appian Lead Certification
• Strong experience with Agile delivery
• Strong database design and development skills
• Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes
• Experience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid deployments
• Must be able to obtain and maintain federal government security clearance (U.S. citizen)

Responsibilities

• Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, and DevSecOps
• Design and deliver scalable Appian solutions within client ecosystems
• Mentor delivery teams on best practices and platform design
• Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools
• Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
• Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration
