Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Appian Solution Architect to lead digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients in the Washington, D.C. metro area. You will architect scalable, secure Appian solutions, integrate with REST/SOAP APIs and cloud services, and guide cross‑functional teams through the full software lifecycle.

You will mentor developers, stay current with Appian updates, and drive Agile delivery and governance to ensure high performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in IT consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise software delivery.
• Strong Appian expertise including SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules, and cloud/on‑prem integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design and implementation of Appian‑based BPM solutions across Cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Translate business needs into actionable Appian solutions with REST/SOAP integrations and cloud services.
• Guide project teams and clients on platform decisions, solution design, and implementation strategies.
• Develop and present solution architectures, roadmaps, and migration plans to leadership.
• Mentor developers and junior architects to foster continuous learning.
• Stay current with Appian updates and emerging tech; recommend enhancements and accelerators.
• Drive Agile delivery, oversee deployments and post‑launch support.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices documentation.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities and presenting solutions.
