Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Appian Solution Architect to lead digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients. You will design and implement Appian-based processes across Cloud and on-prem environments, integrating with REST/SOAP APIs and cloud services, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.

You will mentor developers and junior architects, stay current with Appian updates, and drive Agile delivery throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to post-launch support.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in IT consulting or enterprise software delivery.
• Five or more years architecting and developing Appian solutions (SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules).
• Current Appian Lead Developer or Solution Architect certifications with ongoing learning.
• Expert understanding of Appian best practices, scalability, and cloud security.
• Experience leading Agile teams and full delivery lifecycle (CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of Appian-based solutions across Cloud and on-premises.
• Translate business needs into actionable Appian designs and integrations with APIs and cloud services.
• Serve as technical expert guiding project teams and clients on architecture decisions.
• Develop solution architectures, roadmaps, and migration plans for leadership.
• Mentor developers and junior architects, promoting learning and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with Appian updates and industry trends to propose enhancements.
• Drive Agile delivery, participate in sprint planning, and oversee deployments and post-launch support.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices documentation.
