Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Appian Developer to design, build, test, and maintain Appian applications. You will translate complex business requirements into functioning solutions, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automation across processes.

The role requires extensive Appian experience, Java/SQL knowledge, and the ability to work with clients and stakeholders, including adherence to best practices and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional software experience with at least three years in Appian development.
• Active Appian Senior Developer certifications; willingness to pursue additional certs on hire.
• Strong knowledge of Appian platform, including SAIL and Process Modeler.
• Experience with Java, SQL, and web services; understanding of database architecture.
• Ability to design business processes and integrate across disparate systems.
• Willingness to work Eastern Standard Hours and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Appian applications.
• Lead complex business process automation using Appian; mentor juniors.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and clients to gather requirements.
• Implement best practices for Appian development and integrations.
• Develop and maintain Appian plug-ins and interfaces; contribute to technical docs.
