Groundswell is seeking an Appian Business Analyst to join our team. You will partner with Appian product teams and potentially engage customers to generate requirements specific to Appian applications.
The role is remote with East Coast hours and requires the ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance if needed. Salary ranges from $74,230 to $142,250, and the company emphasizes a collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities to impact federal agency solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst refining requirements for information systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely with East Coast hours; US citizenship may be required for clearance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Appian product teams to define requirements for applications.
- Conduct discovery, data modeling, process improvement, and UI design for BPM apps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document solution requirements.
- Define new or enhanced product requirements and functionality with tech teams.
- Support prioritization of features within the product roadmap.
- Deliver engagement analytics and support case studies and related information.
- Author user stories with acceptance criteria for developers and QA.
- Refine requirements based on user engagements and demos.
- Assist with sprint planning and estimation for backlog items.
- Identify risks and opportunities for process improvements.
