Join to apply for the Appian Architect role at Precise Software Solutions, Inc.

Support application development, governance, platform management, and infrastructure as an Appian architect or highly experienced Appian Developer. Collaborate with project teams to ensure customer success through integration, guidance, architectural design, and infrastructure management.

Must be USC/GC/EAD with the ability to obtain a government public trust clearance.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders.
2. Manage Appian platform including system availability, monitoring, plugin management, health checks, data calls, and infrastructure activities like upgrades and security compliance.
3. Translate business requirements into technical designs, including data mapping and loading.
4. Align solutions with the IT roadmap in collaboration with IT leadership.
5. Contribute to hands-on development, technical discussions, and build proofs of concept.
6. Develop and implement Appian and related web applications.
7. Provide technical guidance and best practices to development teams.
8. Support application development in Appian BPM and integration with enterprise systems.
9. Estimate and size Appian business requirements.
10. Debug and troubleshoot applications in development and production.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
2. Appian Level 2 Certification (preferred).
3. Experience with Agile, Java, APIs, Web Services, integrations, and Appian plugins.
4. Experience integrating with external systems.
5. Proficiency in Appian BPM and complex SQL databases.
6. Ability to work with multiple project teams, own project backlog, and ensure timely delivery.
7. Strong communication skills.
8. Attention to detail, punctuality, and passion for design.
9. Willingness to mentor and contribute beyond immediate tasks.
10. Comfortable in a demanding environment managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4-7+ years of Appian development experience.
