Vector Consulting is looking for an experienced Appian Architect for a remote, 12+ months renewable government contract in Herndon, VA.

Position

Appian Architect

Task Description

Provide contractor services to automate triage and mail handling related to agency benefits and automate FOIA processing.

Required Skills and Experience

1. Certified Level 2 Appian Developer
2. 3+ years of hands-on experience as a senior/lead Appian Developer for production applications
3. 1+ years developing Appian Plugins
4. 1 year managing an on-premises Appian Production Environment
5. 2+ years configuring, debugging, systems integration, user interfaces, reports, and interface components
6. 2+ years working with relational databases and SQL scripting
7. 3+ years in all phases of software development for large-scale applications following Agile methodologies
8. 2+ years designing and implementing SOAP and REST APIs

Nice to Have Skills

1. 2+ years recent experience on a federal government software project
2. Experience defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations
3. 1 year experience with Java
4. Experience with Appian for Kubernetes
5. Application Performance Optimization
6. NoSQL databases
7. Cloud Resource Management
8. Excellent analytical, technical, written, and verbal communication skills
