Sr. Consultant - OT Network Architect | Remote, USA

This position will be fully remote and can be hired anywhere in the US.

Our consultants are skilled technical and consultative resources expected to be strong in both technical and soft skills. A Consultant must be a proven self-starter with the ability to problem-solve, communicate effectively, participate in diverse project teams from a technical perspective, and interface with customers, vendor partners, and colleagues. Establish and maintain productive and respectful relationships with the delivery team, practice management, and client management teams.

You will actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives. Deliver timely engagements and work closely with Practice Directors to drive training, education, career development, performance development, and collaboration across the team.

In line with Optiv’s commitment to quality, you will review work to ensure it meets Optiv’s quality standards.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Lead or act as the "point" for complex projects, including OT segmentation strategies and assessments.
  • Create documentation for OT segmentation standards and reports.
  • Lead capacity planning, hardware specification recommendations, and deployment activities related to cyber-physical solutions and networking technology.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and post-production support.
  • Communicate effectively within the team.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional associations such as ISSA.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant networking vendor certifications.
  • Complete administrative tasks like time and expense reporting, and project status updates.
  • Contribute to Optiv communities for solutions of focus.
What We’re Looking For
  • Approximately 4-7 years of experience in OT architecture.
  • Experience with frameworks like ISA 62443, NIST 800-82, or similar.
  • Knowledge of security concepts, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and security policies.
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating systems, security technologies, and scripting languages.
  • Understanding of operating systems, virtual environments, mainframe security, and databases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence, negotiate, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to travel within the US; valid driver’s license required.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+ are desirable.
