• Hands-on experience in Appian application design for scalable solutions
• Hands-on experience in Appian deployment architecture that ensures availability and performance SLA
• Interact and communicate with client’s technical SPOC
• Analyze and estimate efforts for change requests, if any
• Translate business requirements into system qualities and into design strategies and patterns that enable those qualities (e.g., adaptability, scalability, availability, reusability)
• Define IT design methodology, development process methodology, and best practices. Assist the client and HCL development team in solving technical hurdles within scope
• Validate HCL’s understanding of requirements through interactions with the client team
• Work on third-party integrations, Web API, and provide architectural guidelines on XML and REST protocols
• Prepare solution architecture and data modeling
• Provide best practices and design patterns in building business process solutions, leveraging RPA automation
• Conduct peer reviews, testing, and documentation of solutions
• Handle technical discussions with the team to ensure application delivery within timelines
• Provide templates and checklists to aid application architecture
• Take ownership of technical delivery and ensure quality code
