Job Title: Appian Solution Architect

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA or Remote

Job Description:

• 15+ years of experience in Appian
• Hands-on experience in Appian application design for scalable solutions
• Hands-on experience in Appian deployment architecture ensuring availability and performance SLAs
• Interact and communicate with the client's technical SPOC
• Analyze and estimate efforts for change requests
• Translate business requirements into system qualities and design strategies (e.g., scalability, availability, reusability)
• Define IT design methodology, development processes, and best practices
• Assist the client and development team in solving technical challenges within scope

Additional responsibilities include:

• Validating understanding of requirements through client interactions
• Working on third-party integrations, Web API, and providing architectural guidelines on XML and REST protocols
• Preparing solution architecture and data models
• Providing best practices and design patterns for business process solutions leveraging RPA automation
• Performing peer reviews, testing, and documentation
• Leading technical discussions to ensure timely delivery
• Providing templates and checklists for application architecture

Must have the ability to take ownership of technical delivery and produce quality code.
