Job summary

True Vet Solutions is actively seeking an Appeals Specialist to support veterans by reviewing VA rating decisions, drafting supplemental claims, and coordinating evidence needs. The role requires compassion, organization, and a focus on veteran-centric outcomes.

• Strong analytical and professional writing skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
• Utilize Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Chrome, Zoom, and Basic Internet skills.
• Ability to self-discipline and great time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPPA compliance.
• Quiet workspace to complete daily tasks.
• At least 5 years of sales experience.
• Preferred knowledge of VA disability claims and appeals.
• Preferred familiarity with secondary service connection claims.
• Preferred medical background and experience.
