Confidential in New York seeks an Apparel Technical Designer to support development and production. Translate samples or photos into detailed specs, conduct fittings with Designers or Buyers, and provide precise fit notes to factories to keep milestones on track.

You will email/WeChat with factories, prep fit samples for buyers, and issue graded specs for Junior, Missy, Plus, and some Kids/Mens. Role covers Knit, Woven, sportswear and outerwear with attention to industry standards and

• Experience translating samples/photos into technical specs
• Ability to conduct fittings with Designers/Buyers
• Clear notes to factories to maintain timelines
• Communicate with factories via email/WeChat when needed
• Prepare and send fit samples to buyers and track comments
• Issue graded specs for size ranges (Junior, Missy, Plus, Kids/Mens)
• Experience with Knit, Woven sportswear and outerwear styles
• Strong attention to detail and independent work ethic

We are looking for a skilled Apparel Technical Designer to support our development and production process.

Ideal candidates should be able to:

• Provide specs for garment from samples or pictures for development & production
• Conduct fittings with the Designer or Buyer
• Provide clear fit comments to factories for production to remain on time
• Communicate with factories via email & WeChat (if needed)
• Prep & Send fit samples to a out of office buyers. Follow up with their tech designers on comments, then relay and send to our factories.
• Issue graded specs for size ranges as needed.
• Must have knowledge with issuing specs for a range of sizes (Junior, Missy, Plus and some Kids/Children/Mens)
• Must have knowledge with issuing specs for both sportswear (Knit & Woven) and outerwear.
• Understanding of some industry standards to help expedite development / fit specs
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal direction.
