Job summary

OOBE Apparel Design Group, Inc. in Greenville, SC, is seeking an Associate Technical Designer to support the design team by creating and maintaining tech packs, managing fit approvals, and ensuring product quality across development samples.

You will coordinate with overseas offices and factories, update Bill of Materials, and help guide construction details. Strong CAD/flat pattern knowledge and proactive problem solving are essential to success.

Qualifications

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator).
Understanding of garment construction, measurement specifications and grading.
Knowledge of flat pattern or CAD pattern making.
Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Assist design team with creating and maintaining tech packs and sample approvals.
Coordinate fit sessions and relay construction revisions to factories and overseas offices.
Maintain tech packs, BOMs, and sewing construction details using PLM or Excel.
Monitor market trends and fabric technology to keep programs aligned with objectives.
Support design and development to ensure fabrics, trims, labeling, and packaging meet specs.
