gearUP is seeking a Technical Developer to lead the path from concept to production for apparel. You will craft tech packs, manage prototypes end-to-end, and coordinate with design, product, merchandising, and license partners to ensure timely delivery and product integrity.

The role requires 5+ years in apparel technical development, strong construction/dimensioning skills, and the ability to mentor teams while navigating fast-paced timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in apparel design, textile science or related field.
• 5+ years technical development experience in the apparel industry from inception through production.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to write specs and construction instructions.
• Experience with Nike Performance Apparel and managing handovers with Nike/license partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to mentor others and lead initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Create and update tech packs with measurements, construction sketches, graphic placements and BOM.
• Track prototypes end-to-end, manage calendars and report progress to the team.
• Conduct prototype reviews; provide feedback to meet fit, construction and quality standards.
• Raise awareness of quality/manufacturing risks and influence triad partners to resolve.
• Establish and execute fit/construction standards for consistency.
• Manage multiple projects at various stages of product creation.
• Demonstrate awareness of market trends and innovations in apparel development.
