Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking store teammates who greet customers, understand their needs and assist them with purchases while maintaining brand standards. You will help with floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory, and promote loyalty programs as part of a great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales or cashier experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull and lift 15–35 lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder or lifting device.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively assist to understand needs and shopping preferences.
• Maintain merchandising and presentation standards, signage, price changes and inventory.
• Promote loyalty programs, warranties and private label enrollment as applicable.
• Support safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.
• Create an inclusive store environment and collaborate with teammates.
