Job summary

Sony Music Entertainment's Merch Collective is seeking a Production Coordinator to support day-to-day workflow across internal teams and external vendors. You will handle data entry for SKUs, POs, and vendor records, while maintaining accurate production tracking and timely updates throughout the order lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in production coordination or related fields, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Asana, Excel, and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in production coordination, merchandising, apparel, or related fields (music or entertainment industry experience a plus).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a sharp eye for consistency.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in project management and collaboration platforms and tools (e.g. Asana, Monday).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the data entry of new garment SKUs, client item SKU requests, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Enter Purchase Orders into QuickBooks or other tools and match vendor invoices to POs for payment approval.
• Keep internal systems updated (Asana) with order updates, packing lists, and tracking information.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding; organize paperwork and system uploads; maintain vendor catalogue.
• Track PO adjustments and design changes; communicate updates to other teams via Asana.
• Review samples and pre-production proofs to ensure accuracy before full production begins.
