Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven apparel merchandiser to bring fashion to life at the store level. As an apparel merchandiser, you'll ensure clothing is styled, organized, and presented to reflect brand identity and attract shoppers.

Working hands-on in stores, you'll be responsible for styling mannequins and displays to create a polished, trend-forward shopping experience. Winston Retail offers an independent contractor role with a competitive hourly rate, flexible

Qualifications

• Experience in apparel merchandising or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with mannequins—assembling, updating, and styling.
• A portfolio of work is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• Keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with company standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales for apparel and hardlines.
• Communicate merchandising needs with team and store management.
• Work independently and as part of a team across different store settings.
• Manage monthly scheduling to complete store visits and merchandising deliverables on time.
• Submit store visit reports with before/after photos and feedback via the Winston App.
