Job summary

Winston Retail in Hickory, NC is seeking a Retail Merchandising Specialist to bring fashion to life at the store level. You will style mannequins and displays, ensure brand identity, and present apparel to attract shoppers across assigned stores.

The role requires hands-on work in stores, independent project execution, and collaboration with store management to execute planograms and merchandising strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in apparel merchandising or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, styling).
• Portfolio of work preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives essential.
• Keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with company standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales of apparel and hardlines.
• Communicate merchandising needs with team members and store management.
• Work independently and as part of a team across different stores.
• Manage monthly scheduling to complete store visits and deliverables on deadlines.
• Submit store visit reports with before/after photos and feedback via Winston App.
• Report via smartphones using iPhone 11+ or compatible Android device.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the full shift.
