Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking a Softline Processor to prepare donated apparel, shoes, and accessories for our retail stores. You will help create great shopping experiences while supporting community programs.

Responsibilities include sorting items, tagging, labeling, and meeting production goals. A friendly attitude and ability to work with others are essential for success in this team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail or production experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete production documentation.
• Clear communication with customers and teammates.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and contribute to team success.

Responsibilities

• Sort and assess softline items based on quality and brand standards.
• Hang, tag, and label merchandise using production and pricing systems.
• Build and demonstrate knowledge of apparel brands and trends.
• Meet daily/bi-weekly production goals by processing donated items.
• Maintain a friendly, welcoming attitude with customers and team members.
• Greet customers and address concerns in line with retail policies.
• Collaborate with coworkers and leadership to share ideas and concerns.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized workstations; request supplies as needed.
• Help keep store interior/exterior clean, safe, and organized.
• Cross-train in other areas as assigned.
