Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our client’s team in Seattle, WA on site. You will provide operational support for enterprise applications, retail technology platforms, and payment systems, solving complex issues and improving reliability.

You will work with application, infrastructure, network, and development teams, handle POS peripherals, and use PowerShell for scripting. A proactive, collaborative mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with POS systems and retail payment systems.
• Troubleshooting peripherals like printers, scanners, and cash drawers.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of Windows OS internals including storage, RAID, memory, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the highest level of operational support for enterprise applications, retail technology platforms, and payment systems.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues escalated from support teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent corrective actions to improve platform reliability.
• Partner with application, infrastructure, network, and development teams to ensure system stability, availability, and performance.
• Support troubleshooting of peripherals such as printers, scanners, and cash drawers, and support POS systems.
