FirstHealth of the Carolinas seeks a part-time Advanced Practice Provider to support Convenient Care clinics in the Sandhills region. The role involves urgent care and emergency medicine duties with collaboration among physicians and APPs.

Position Highlights

• Our 7 locations are open 8am – 8pm (closed on 4 recognized holidays).
• All locations are within 1 hour of Pinehurst, NC.
• Epic EMR.
• Imaging and diagnostic testing on-site.
• Well-coordinated process with system EDs for transfer of acute care needs.

Qualifications

• PA: completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and NCCPA certification.
• NP: completion of a nurse practitioner education program and national certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience treating all ages in an Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine setting is required, 4+ years of experience is highly desired.
• Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision-making.
• Clean background, unrestricted NC PA/NP license, NC DEA, AHA BLS certification, and DOT certification required.
