Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas seeks a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider in central North Carolina. You will split time between inpatient consults, stress test supervision, and follow-up care, alongside outpatient visits and Epic EMR tasks, in a full-service cardiology practice with 30+ providers.

Ideal candidates have NP or PA training with cardiology experience, NC licensure, DEA, and BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

  • NP must be graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program and have national certification.
  • PA must be graduate of AMA approved PA program and NCCPA certified.
  • Prefer 2+ years of advanced cardiology experience.
  • Must have NC licensure, NC DEA, and BLS; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inpatient: new consults, stress test supervision, follow-ups, early discharges.
  • Outpatient: new patient clinic visits, follow-ups, and Epic EMR admin tasks.
  • Be part of a large cardiology team across multiple locations.

Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Central North Carolina

Award winning medical system in the Southeast is recruiting for an experienced Cardiology APP to serve the needs of the Richmond County community. Position Highlights
  • Mix of Inpatient and Outpatient practice, Mon-Fri schedule.
  • Inpatient responsibilities include new consults, stress test supervision, follow-up visits, and early discharges.
  • Outpatient responsibilities include new patient clinic visits and follow-up visits along with timely administrative tasks in Epic EMR.
  • Full-service cardiology practice – 30+ experienced providers in 6 clinic locations supporting 5 hospitals in the region.
  • Be a member of the FirstHealth Physician Group, a team of 400+ hospital-employed providers.

Qualifications
  • NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
  • PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
  • Prefer 2+ years of advanced practice experience Cardiology.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.
  • Clean background, NC licensure, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
