Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas seeks a Critical Care APP for swing shifts in Pinehurst, NC. You will deliver comprehensive critical care to patients in med-neuro, CCU, and CVT units within a 14-shift month block, collaborating with two physicians and two APPs per shift.

The role offers strong autonomy, competitive compensation, incentives, relocation support, CME, life and disability coverage, and loan-forgiveness eligibility. Must hold eligible PA/NP credentials and state licensure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Advanced Practice experience in a critical care setting is required.
• PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
• NC license, NC DEA, and AHA ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in med-neuro, coronary care, and CVT units.
• Maintain a high degree of autonomy with collaboration from a team of physicians and APPs.
• Night shifts with experienced APP support and a 14-shift per month block schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Advanced Practice experience in a critical care setting is required.
• PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification. NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
• Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.
• Clean background, NC license, NC DEA, and AHA ACLS certification required.
