Job summary

Baptist Health in Downtown Jacksonville seeks an APP Supervisor to provide frontline operational oversight, team coordination, and peer leadership for APPs within the Internal Medicine and Family Medicine service lines. The role collaborates with physician leaders, nursing and education specialists to ensure a high-performing APP workforce and aligned workflows.

You will oversee scheduling, onboarding, competency development, performance feedback, and compliance with documentation standards

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate in nursing or related field.
• Active APRN or PA-C license.
• 35 years clinical experience; precepting or team leadership preferred.
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice and full scope of practice within specialty.
• Operational Oversight: coordinate daily workflows, schedules, and coverage.
• Hiring, Onboarding & Competency Development: lead onboarding and assessments.
• Performance Support & Accountability: participate in evaluations and coach peers.
• Operational Communication & Team Leadership: lead APP meetings and liaison with leadership.
