FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Whispering Pines, NC, seeks a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our new outpatient location. This 100% outpatient role offers a Monday–Friday schedule in the Sandhills region with growth opportunities within a large cardiology team.

The clinician will perform new patient and follow-up visits, manage cardiovascular conditions, educate patients, and document in Epic EMR in collaboration with 30+ providers across the FirstHealth Physician Group.

Competenze

• NP/PA must graduate from accredited program and hold national certification.
• NCCPA certification and NC licensure required.
• Two+ years of advanced cardiology experience preferred.

• 100% outpatient cardiology practice with a Monday-Friday schedule.

• Coordinate care and complete timely documentation and administrative tasks in Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• NP must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner education program and hold national certification.
• PA must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold NCCPA certification.
• Two or more years of advanced practice experience in cardiology preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, and discretion in clinical decision-making.
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care.
• Clean background, North Carolina licensure, DEA registration, and AHA BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
